The Fog Ghost
by:
William H. Simpson
I hear wailing.
Great ships are sailing
Into your arms; and nevermore
They port on any shore.
Ghost of the mist,
Keep your ancient tryst!
Back to the lone lanes of the sea
Slip silently.
