Beauty Eternal
by:
Teresa Hooley
(1888-1973)
To-day I saw a butterfly,
The first-born of the
Spring
,
Sunning itself upon a bank--
A lovely, tawny thing.
I saw a dandelion, too,
As golden as the sun;
And these will still be beautiful
When all the
wars
are done.
